Digital and Marketing Asset Management Systems – managing and sharing your assets
A Digital and Marketing Asset Management System (DAMS) should provide you with a secure online repository that facilitates the management, organization, and sharing of any media files you identify as digital assets. For example, your photos, logos, brand collateral, videos, PDFs, documents, and more.
We can either manage or set up a DAMS system.
Below is an example of one system we set up for Clare Tourism, together with a training guide. You can access part of this system below, noting that it is part of a broader system with different permission levels for files and folders.
You can also open our guide, intended for the tourism and travel trade and media to use it
Sample Project: A Digital Asset Management System for the Tourism Department of Clare County Council
Clare County Council’s Tourism Department actively works to attract discerning visitors to County Clare through product development and promotion. As part of their role, they have undertaken photo shoots that have captured several thousand images that serve to showcase Clare’s amazing scenic diversity and beauty. They also use these images in a range of digital promotional collateral.
In deeply challenging times for tourism and travel, and to help support tourism’s recovery, they wished to share all these digital assets with tourism-connected businesses in the county and with travel professionals and travel influencers. In this way, users accessing the system could use the assets to attract more business for themselves and/or the county.
Accolades Marketing, working with Clare County Council’s Tourism Department, helped to identify and set up the Digital Asset Management System and in a way that allowed part of it (the part you can access) to be sharable with those who can make use of the assets. The system is also used by the Clare Tourism Team, internally, to manage a wider base of digital assets.
To experience the system, click on the panel below, and use the 'Share' and 'Clare' username and password (case sensitive). You are even free to use all these images and resources - provided you are using them to promote County Clare.
